Three friends were sitting around the table of a cafeteria at Michigan State University enjoying their dinner and stressing out about the upcoming finals. One was a food enthusiast and the other is a Gordon Ramsey wanna-be. As they talked about their love for food, the idea of starting a food blog was brought up. Pinch of Salt was created for us to express our love of food but also to bring you the best reviews, recipes, photos and etc. Welcome and hope you enjoy!

Since my parents were restaurant owners, I have been surrounded by good food since I was a wee little lad. I've loved cooking ever since I first witnessed my dad work a wok with so much ease and finesse. Since that day, I have strived to cook up a dish that is worthy enough to be roasted by Gordon Ramsey on Twitter.
